Turned Out Great After All

My mom went to this practice thing for our upcoming Sophomore night on July 25. The "moms" in our batch were preparing for this special dance number and they had a practice today at this condo and villa place in San Fernando. I went along, knowing that my best friend, whose mom was also attending, was going to be there. I thought I was gonna be with her and wasn't gonna be bored to death....a least I thought so.....at first. :)

We were the only ones when we got there. Turned out that my best friend didn't come. Another mom picked us up and picked up other moms. I was so out of place! When we were at the place, this old agent guy came to us and offered us a tour of the place. So, he took us all around the condo units, including the ones that are still under construction and incomplete. Haha, I never thought they were THAT expensive. After the tour, we went downstairs to the wide space near the swimming pool. That's where we waited for the other parents to come.

While waiting, I was so out of place. Moms here, moms there, talking about different topics I'm not even interested in. I began o realize that I shouldn't have come. Then, while eating peanuts and feeling so sasa, one of my classmates came. She came, and I didn't care. Even if we were the only students outside the car (my other classmate was so "not in the mood" feeling so sungit was left to rot in the car), I didn't talk to her. Why? Simple answer: because I don't like her. She's too shy and I really just don't like her. So her presence didn't lift me up from my misery.

And then, at last....another mom came.....along with another one of my classmates. Yess! Even if I'm not close to him, at least....at least, I talk to him. SoI went to him and told him that we were with Igi (my classmate who was rotting in the car). And you know what? We went to him, and his freaking sungit mood was suddenly gone! We spent the whole day talking about magic and different kinds of topics. Even the agent who showed us around earlier was kind enough to talk to us. He was so interesting...and wise. I sure learned a whole lot today.

Turns out, the boys weren't so bad to be with after all. :)
